Filler Tube Grommet Replacement

Every time I fill up my tank I get a slow drip from the tank. It isn't coming from the sending unit so I'm assuming the grommet isn't seated properly. I should also add that it's a new tank. Question, do I have to drop the tank or can this be done through the trunk ?

Your gonna have to drop the tank.You can use a small plank on a floor jack to lower it while backing off the strap bolts.Try to either run or drain most fuel out first.Good luck
