Finally purchased an A-body this evening. After searching far and wide on the internet and car corrals I bought this car off my neighbor who never sells anything. It goes to show sometimes you just have to ask.
The car: 73 Gold Duster survivor. 100% original Georgia car. Neighbor has owned it 3 yrs.
225 "Leaning tower of power" Gold bench, gator grain top.
Needs a radiator, otherwise runs and drives.
Gave $ 3500

Future plans, drivetrain swap, interior refurbishing. Upgrade brakes
For now, clean her up and enjoy her. :burnout:

Is your neighbor Al Bundy?

Actually, looks to be in shockingly good condition. More pics coming soon?

Congratulations  Yes! Very nice looking shape and complete all the way down to the stock hub caps and top :thumblef:

Looks nice and clean.
What are your plans for it?

Since I don't have a lot of money in the car up front, thinking maybe a 440/727/8.75 rear. Maybe an aftermarket K-frame with disk brakes/rack and pinion steering. Since its so original I don't want to start cutting on it Going to try to save the paint since its still original.
Redo the interior.
Matte black on the hood with 440 callout?
Black stripe on side?
Whatever we do I would like to have the ability to put it back stock if possible.
Lots of ideas. The goal now is to get it roadworthy and enjoy it.

Nice start, I would throw a radiator in it and drive it around for a little while.
That way you could see if the car needs anything else.
