Tires showed up Friday just like the tracking numbers said they would.

Got'em all changed out yesterday....mounted, balanced, new valve stems run me $20@piece, was happy about that. Makes a whole world of difference with the narrow whitewalls and cleaned up hubcaps!

Of the skillions of cars that used to use 13's, never thought these things would be an issue.

Makes you wonder if 14" tires will become a problem someday.
They already are. They were getting scarce even fifteen years ago, for a 215/75 on a van.
there's like, zero, performance 14" tires in reasonable sizes and even regular tires are limited size wise

and 15's are rapidly headed in the same direction...

unless you want BFG's...
Which are not performance tires. (They're hard-compound T-rated all seasons.)
Anything in the USA...they might charge tariff and shipping
Try tires-easy.com or Simpletire.com .
there's decent handful of true performance tires in 14" (falken azenis, nitto NT's, etc) but the problem is that they're all narrow (185's and 195's) and SHORT short, most running in the 23" range and they're "street" tires in spirit... like think about rain and you're on rollerskates and forget about any kind of mileage.

for the most part they're 150ish range a clip, but sometimes you can grab some close outs on tire rack for a little cheaper.

fwiw, in my dart i never found the limit of 205/50-15 falken azenis on the street, it took the track to exploit that level of grip.
Pretty sure those are essentially sport compact tires, for Civics, etc.
