James Cromwell. He had his own forest of premium wood and a complete sawmill to make the timbers and lumber. His family was well known for their skill with lumber and building. The judge released him of the charges based upon a speech he gave in court about this history and a baseball he owned with Babe Ruth's signature.
And working on the new cars every time I do a job I have to buy a new tool. Recently did rear brakes on my wife's Accord the piston screws in, no longer C clamp to push in for new pads. So bought the tools to screw piston in. Why change things that have worked for a 100 years.

I am still finishing a detached shop of my own and just bought and installed a 4-post lift. I spent the better part of 6 months researching which to buy. For what it's worth, I went with the Advantage DX9000 along with their air-powered rolling bridge jack and am very pleased. The bridge jack sits 3" above the runways (2.5" without the pads) but can be removed easily using a dolly if I ever need to put up a super low car.
Congrats on the 4 post lift!! The rolling bridge jack is an awesome addition to the lift as well.
