When i purchased my 73 Duster, it had an aftermarket CD player in it with new speakers wired. The CD player wouldnt power up at first, and after some handy dandy investigation work I discovered the accessory wire on the radio had not been connected. Does anyone know offhand which color wire under the dash may be switched power to turn the player on when the key is turned forward/backward. The CD player works, as I have touched the wire to the constant and everything works well. Also can anyone point me in the right direction to a wiring diagram? Im in need of wiring for the door/dome light switches as well. Also, are these switches available anywhere?

Unfortunately, looks like the effed up the radio wiring on those diagrams

This is a screenshot out of the 72 service manual, may be right or wrong. Look for a 2 conductor "T" shaped connector for the radio

Switched and fused supply to original radio is red. Orange is dial illumination.
If you want to add memmory always on, tap a yellow wire in the harness all the underside of the dash. That's the domelamp circuit.

Just double checked and mines red too. Sorry
