Hello: I am restoring a 1967 Fastback Barracuda. I striped this car completely and had it ready strip dipped. Now that all or most of the body work is done I have begun to assemble it. First problem is I purchased a fire wall pad kit from REM. This thing doesn't seem it fit correctly, Unless I revease all the pads and mount them with with the fiberglass towards the interior. This thing doesnt come with instructions and seems like it was made incorrectly. (mirror image) I was able to mount it but I think the cardbroad backing should be towards the interior, not the fiberglass side as I was forced to mount it. Has any one ever done this? Is there a defect with this like it was manufactored incorrectly? Any advise from any one whose done this might prove helpful. Any pictures of how should look would also be helpful. Please advise.
