I have a '66 Valiant and was wondering if any body makes the 3 clips that hold the wiring harness to top of the firewall?
Thanks for any help.

I might have some used ones-- but they are in a box somewhere-- i've kept lots of little items from parted cars in recent years.
The link to year 1 -- I don't think thats the same clip-- I think the clips that cb66 is looking for just clip on to the seam at the firewall & holds the wire harness in it, Lawrence

It's quite possible that the clips are different. I'm the process of painting my engine bay and I ordered some of these clips for my '65 Barracuda and they look the same as the ones I pulled (only less rusty).

I'll bet Wildcat has them.

I am looking to replace those clips too. I have a '64 and my clips dont look like that. Spankmeister do your clips look like that?

Spank, thanks for the input, but not the correct ones. I am in need of the ones that go over the seam of the firewall. Will post a pic if i get the time.

The firewall clips that hold the wiring harness. The last time I was working under the dash I found some just like them for holding the wiring. Take a look under your dash if you can't find anyone who sells them. Jayson

Has any one who has restored an early A body replaced the three clips that clip onto the firewall (they are body color by the way) to hold the wires in place replaced the clips? If so where did you get them. I know after painting the engine comparetment and going through all the rewiring engine work etc...no one used the rusty peeling clips over....did you????

Thanks,
Dave

I finally got a picture. These clips (five of them) clip onto the seam at the top of the firewall and hold the wire loom in place. They seem to be plastic coated in body color. The plastic dries up and breaks off.

Does anyone know if these are being made?

Thanks,
Dave

Peel the old coating off then go to Home Depot or other local hardware store and get a can of that plastic stuff that you can coat screwdriver handles and such with. May not be body colored but it does come in 4-5 colors. you dip the part, let it dry a while then dip again. Takes 2 or 3 times to build up a good coating on it but once dry it is on there permenantly.
