I haven't needed / used the front bucket on the little Farmall for years. Only used the loader to lift heavy objects, or hung the antique Meyer snow blade on there for the winter.

The neighbor has been blowing smoke about dragging home some gravel in one of the dump trucks, so I decided I better get busy. Had to redo the bucket mount for the cylinder and buy a new cylinder, and will have to further re-work the mount. I've replaced all but the main supply hoses out of the pump, the pump suction hose, and the short return hose from the valve back into the "reservoir" which is the frame of the loader

Cylinder hook up on the front bucket is "playing" tonight. I'm gonna cut those bucket ears off mount them down further down, and further apart so the cylinder clevis will fit between.

The "real" cylinder anchor on the bucket is barely visible further down and back. But I don't like how that operates,so I'm gonna cut off the top ears, move them down, back, and wider apart so the cylinder will slip between. This will afford some adjustment

Old, OLD, leaky valve. The inboard ear for the levers pivot was busted, and I finally mounted a piece of angle along the other side, drilled through, and finally now have a decent pivot for the two levers

Some of the hoses are a bit long. I bought all but one at "North 40" They are WAY WAY cheaper than having them made. Less than half I think. The one 36" 3/8" hose with 3/8 NPT male ends made up was 34 bucks and that was way cheaper than the "called for price" at a couple other places, one as much as FORTY NINE dollars.

The unfortunate thing, is this loader has no down pressure, "lift" only, although the bucket is of course double acting.
