Have used JB weld to fix many things. Bushings for kids toys. FIL JBed the splined drive pulley on to his lawn tractor put the bolt back in been running like that for 5 years now. He cuts about 3 1/2 acres of grass with it. I know blows my head also

To clarify the pulley is stamped steel with a course spline in it. Bolt holding it on came loose and stripped the spline. FIL thought the price of the new pulley was too much so he slopped the spline full of JB and put the washer and bolt back on. Left it for 2 days and has been cutting grass ever since.
