Flex Plate / Torque Converter Combo ?

I have purchased a Hughes 27-30 3000 stall converter and a B&M 10239 flex plate. I was told today by a Mopar guy that this combo will not work on my 1972 360 external balanced build. What do you think?

The flex plate is the one with the half moon cut out.

Flexplate, External Engine Balance, 2-Piece Rear Main Seal, SFI 29.1, 6-Bolt, Chrysler, 360, 904, Each

says 904, but it will work on a 727 also

I drove my 73 Duster with 727 for 5 years with the b&m 904 flexplate on it...hell..might still be on it..

as long it is a LA 360 and not a magnum

I was looking at that Hughes convertor except for my 727. Did you call them and speak to them about your combo or just order it from Summit? I would like to find out from them what the actual stall would be with my combo before ordering.
