flexplate question

i have a 340 w/cast crank externaly balanced. in order to run aftermarket converters(non weighted) and earlier OE converters (non weighted), all i need to do is purchase a weighted flexplate. correct?:cheers: If so where is the best place to get one?

Summit carries the B&M flexplate for 360 external balanced.It,s about $70.Hope this helps.

you need the b&m flexplate for a cast crank 340....not a 360 flexplate...

yup thats what you need, or just get your tranny guy to balance the convertor for you, i know my tranny guy balanced mine, didn't charge me anything for it. but if not yes you need the balanced flexplate
