After many years in this Hobby / Way of Life, I pass on what I have come to learn,(School of Hard Knocks ) Listen to those who have walked the path before you. Work safe in a clean environment, read labels, warnings, protect your eyes and lungs. measure twice and cut once, READ the Instructions, and document what you do. Take notes, draw diagrams and take lots of pictures. ( damn if I Know how that bracket goes back on after taking kids to kindergarden and picking them up after high school )

The joys of building / maintaining your beloved will be 10 times Greater!!

Remeber: when the Blue Oval and the BowTie boys mock the Pentastar, that our Lord and Maker created the Heavens and the Earth in 6 days..........on the 7th He made the HEMI !

You mean all the things we did wrong as kids, lol. You do have some good points, though.

Every part of the country has its good & bad points. I could turn that around and ask why anyone would live in California (drought, wildfires, mudslides), the midwest (tornadoes) or the south (hurricanes, oppressive heat & humidity). Home is home.

Winter is snowmobiling time. The Dart stays snug in its house 'til spring. :glasses7:

i say all of this because today i plan to finally drain last years fuel (witch i had planned to do through the carb's) put in a little 100LL av-gas (very stable) and put them up for the summer and never got them off the trailer:wack: RECORD SNOW FALL BACK EAST?????!!!!!!:finga:

I will assume that was a joke. But .....
Careful on how you mock. Your (lack) of intelligence is showing. ;)

Staten Island has never on record seen that amount of snow.
Lower New York is its location, not 500 miles north of populated Canada.
Staten Island (1 of 5 counties that make up N.Y.C.) is actually the most southern part of New York.

While you joke about snow, there are those that love it. Driving in it does suck. Nothing like a 4WD Dodge to get you through.

That's great advice. One thing I did learn though is just because someone has been doing it that way for fifty years doesn't always mean it's the best way to do it.

YES I really meant that "pretty much" as a joke! I realize the amounts of snowfall there varies!!!

I admit I hate cold and snow, and we don't get that much here at all. Hate toronados too! I don't even have a place to hide, except lime sink? ( snakes???)

yes you know me well, I'M IGNORANT!!!

In the early days I spent all the money on the drivetrain.
These days I spend all the money on the suspension and whats left on the drivetrain.
Had a couple of my cars loose and on two wheels too many times when I was young & dumb.
