Looks like 1966 - 1967 Chevy Nova rear lights. Drawing could be of a Nova also

Looks like 68 Coronet (including Super Bee) tail lights to me.
I like the look.

Say what?? That doesn't even remotely look like a 66-67 Nova. They were little square boxy cars with tall narrow tail lights. Wasn't till 68 that the Nova got a fastback styling and even then the tail lights didn't look anything like those.

I agree with Jim68cuda. Looks like Coronet/SuperBee tail lights.

SFB I didn't say the car looked like a 66-67 Nova. The tail lights resemble that year, do you always come off as an a$$hole!

Not sure what SFB is but I guess it isn't good considering the end of your reply, LOL... Your right, I read it wrong. You did say just the tail lights looked like 66-67 Nova. The part you said about the drawing could be of a Nova is why I took it that way. And I meant no disrespect. You took me wrong. Just said it in jest.:eek:ops:

To me, the tail lights don't even look like what a 66-67 Nova comes with...more like a Bee than anything. Also, the drawing doesn't resemble a Nova either....at least not to me. Am I an ahole? Naw but I know how to be :D

I still think the tail lights look like the 68 Super Bee tail lights, but... I can easilly see a resemblance to the 66-67 Nova tail lights as well. The 66-67 Nova tail lights were tall and skinny, and were more narrow at the top than the bottom. Now you take those tail lights and put them on their sides, and yes, they would look similar to the tail lights in that illustration of the Duster. But, the 68 Coronet Super Bee tail lights are a closer match. I'm sure the illustration of the Duster was purposely altered so that it wouldn't look like any specific car.

hey fishy where in central il r u located im in greenup il

I'm out in the weeds a few miles s.w. of Litchfield. For several yrs. I worked for Hyster forklifts as a mobile mechanic and took care of 2 places in Effingham and one in Robinson so I've been somewhat close to you. A red 69 Dart that I rode in quite often when I was young went over that direction somewhere.

I find it interesting you are referring to CB stuff, and this appears to be a CB whip, buy yet is says

Yep, I remember my 102" whip antenna. I still have my Siltronix 1011D, center tapped to the CB frequency and modified to 1011C specs. Who knows, I might need it this year when the government we know and loves goes Socialistic.

Yep, I remember my 102" whip antenna..

Reminds me of a funny story. Years ago, some locals 'n I had a small 4x4 club, and we all had CB's in our 4x4's, and for some strange reason, this also migrated to having them in some of our cars. A friend of mine, who had a 70 Superbee at the time, wanted to know "the very best" CB antenna to have

I told him, "The best would be a 102" whip in the center of the roof, but nobody wants THAT"

So he bought a 102" whip and put it on the rear bumper. I had a base loaded whip in the center of the roof. Turns out my base loaded whip had better omni characteristics than his rear mount 102, IE depending on whether he was going INTO or OUT of town, whether he could maintain contact. In other words, the antenna produced directivity due to the car body.

So he was always miffed that "I told him" to use a 102" whip!!!

Yep, the strongest side is always the side with the largest "ground ". Toward the rear, the largest transmission out is toward front and visa versia.
