69 car should have a 1/2 hole. 73 up are 5/8. They are also drilled at different locations. Did someone drill your or are they 73

Then someone drilled them. See if yours have the small holes in the corner all 67-72 did big and small block. They are 1/2 inch. If they don't have the hole they are Direct connection or 73-76. 5/8. They also set at different heights as seen in the pictures. They move the spring up 1/4 inch. Just something you or the seller should be aware of so you get the one you need to match what you have. The 1/2 inch can be drilled

The 1/2 hole ones do have a small hole in the corner. All 340 and big block darts had 5/8 holes.

Owned several and stripped several none that I ever owned had 5/8 holes. I must have stripped at least 25 to 30 1969's alone all 340 and 383 cars I have a Barracuda here right now. Some one must have put springs in your cars and drilled them. These cars are 53 years old now. I started buying and stripping these cars in the 70's as wrecks with my father. Check out the part number in a change over book every 67-72 dodge and plymouth a-body had the same hanger.

The part number for the 1/2 hole is 2539489. The one for 5/8 holes 2403768. The front bushing bolt 1/2 part# 192202. The 5/8 bolt # 1948876. The front bushing for the 1/2 hole is 2539127. The front bushing for 5/8 hole is 2403245. All this is from Chrysler’s parts catalog. I have had a few darts my self. And still have a few

Those are not all 1967-72 PN's they cover all A's and the bushings cover all mopar.

The only 5/8 I have from the cars that went through here were 73-76. All 72 and earlier A's were 1/2 unless drilled. I have what you need if yours have the extra hole but they are drilled 1/2 inch to 5/8. They were not factory. I could have sold you a set without telling you.

The reason I asked and stated this was because the 5/8 do not have the extra hole and are drilled in a different location as I pictured. I didn't want to send you a 5/8 style when you need a 1/2 inch style drilled to 5/8. I have several of all styles But I guess I don't have what you are looking for.

All my BB and 340 springs are 1/2 for 72 and earlier and most hangers are still on the springs and have 3/4 inch headed bolts and nuts.

my 73 340 springs are 5/8 and have 13/16 headed bolts and nuts. You definitely need very special hangers which I don't have unless I sell you a drilled set. There are no PN's on them so what would it matter unless they are located different like the later years as pictured?

Here is few pictures this might help you. And the 5/8 bolt head is 15/16 not 13/16. I have several dart that are original. That has 5/8 leaf spring hangers .

Sorry about 13/16 instead of 15/16. But your picture of the manual shows 273,318,340,383 are all the same., except hemi which came with Super stock springs. Of all the years stripping these cars I have never seen the 5/8 bolt on 67-72 a-body. Maybe they removed them before I got the cars. I have a couple complete cars here that are original 273 commando and 340 cars with the springs and rears in them in. You have my curiosity I will go check today. I also have the rear hangers to install early SS springs . They take larger B-body bushings and larger 3/8 shackles.

I can help you with your part but I would need you to post a picture of yours that you need a pair to. Include a scale in picture for location of hole. I get $25 plus ride for one that is cleaned to bare metal and free of rust pits. Steve
