I have my front end all disassembled and ready to put back together.
All parts have been cleaned and painted, have new rubber bushings installed.
I have the LCA pin in the hole with nut snug, and UCA bolted in snug as well, with new ball joints. I'm ready to start the rest of the installation , and after reading Greg's threadhttps://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/threads/crazy-alignment-problems.427285/unread, I figured I should ask a few questions !
1 : What are the correct steps for installing the torsion bars?
On the ends of my bars I see an L on one, and a R one the other. Left and RT ?
I'M thinking after 50 years they may be twisted to some degree.
2 : So I'm thinking maybe swap them side for side and start twisting them back the other direction for 50 more !
3: Should I leave all the rubber bushing bolts loose till I get it all put back together and the ride height where I want it before tightening them down tight ?
4: Do the torsion bars slip thru the back side of Xmember , plug em into the LCA with the LCA hanging ?
What is the correct way to get the tension adjustment on the T bars and tightening of the LCA pin ?
That should do it till I get that far, Thanks for any guidance and suggestions. AL
