Just a quick question
What pressure are you running?

Iv just replaced my whole fuel line and pump, and now I'm running 6 lbs throughout the whole pass, whereas before I'd gone from 9 down to about 1 at the end of the 1/4, so not so good.

So 6lbs, I can adjust up or down I just wondered what the general thoughts are.

Yes it's going back on the dyno to set up a few things but cash is tight this month.

ProSystems told me to set mine at a minimum 7.25 lbs.

I think that if you can hold 6 psi through a 1/4 mile pass you should be good!

Make sure you re set your floats or raise it back up to 9 psi.........and still check your float level.
Assume your running a Holley. If not i would stay at 6psi

Interesting, thanks guys
So between 6 and 7.5, so if I set it at 7 then fine tune it on the dyno to get it optimum.

I will report my findings :)

6 lbs is a good preasure setting for a Holley. 7 lbs and higher pressure can overpower the float even with carb sitting stationary. If you have 6 lbs the entire pass you have plenty of fuel waiting to come in. Im just guessing that you're using a Holley style carb.

If it maintains 6 psi throughout the entire run that means the fuel bowls are staying full. I shoot for 6-7 psi when setting a Holley up but I don't believe 1 psi makes much, if any difference when the pressure is maintained throughout the run.

Long as it maintains, it's perfect. Leave her be.
