My engine build is coming together thanks to you all. I need a fuel pump. I would like to run a mechanical fuel pump. The engine will be a 408 10.3 CR, Edelbrock heads, Air gap intake, Hughes 232/237 @ .50 dur 540/548 lift cam, tti headers. Haven't picked a carb yet.
Would a stock type Carter 120 gph, 5.5-6.5 psi be OK? Any recomendations are appreciated
As far as carbs, I had one recommendation for an 870VS Street Avenger. and I will certainly consider that. The dual inlet sounds like a good idea when you are shoving that much gas into an engine. However, I was wondering what people thought about the 800 Edelbrock Thunder AVS?
