My wipers stopped working so I went to check the fuse in the fuse box and don't see where the wiper fuse is, can someone tell me where the fuse is? (74 duster)
Thanks

There is none in 67. Breaker on the wiper switch. Here, visit this thread..........

http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?p=1970088617

and download yourself a free Mopar service manual. Some of them came from this site, and there's more good info there

http://www.mymopar.com/index.php?pid=31

The wiring diagrams posted above are "OK" sometimes but they are sometimes incorrect, and are not exactly complete. They don't show all the connectors, nor do they show options you may have. Sometimes, they are better because they are simpler

You have to be VERY careful with these old girls, because they are VERY under-fused. Read this article having to do with the ammeter...........

http://www.madelectrical.com/electricaltech/amp-gauges.shtml

But it ALSO has a simplified diagram down the page showing basic power distribution in these girls. Notice the "welded splice." This is a factory splice in the black ammeter wire up under the dash. It splits off and feeds as indicated, the hot fuse panel, the ignition switch, headlight switch, and a few other things depending on year of car.

wow - weird someone else is having the same problem...at the same time! Thanks for the links - going to check them out now.

I just pulled the switch out and noticed there is 5 wires on a 6 prong switch and the prong that isn't used is hot when the key is in the run position, maybe it's the wrong switch?
Thanks

You have to read the shop manual, and visit this site............

http://www.passion4mopars.com/

Dig around at the above website. There's lots of info on Mopar wiper systems. They are a PITA because some of them work, and are switched differently. First thing you need to do is determine "what you have" IE variable speed, 3-speed, or 3 speed.

Didn't the 74 have numbers labeling the fuse box?
If so, Cross reference numbers to descriptions in the owners manual.
There have been a few cases of wipers inop where the ground strap at the wiper motor was loose enough interrupt the circuit. The motor is mounted with rubber isolating hardware so...
Checked for power at the motor ?

Ok I'll check for power at the motor, no labeling at the fuse box

Thanks for the website passion4mopars I did the test and found out the resistor was bad, bought a new one and the wipers work
Thanks for every ones help
