PPG gallon on craigs in So. Cal, with reducer! Sounds uber cheap for paint nowadays if its still good, does it have a shelf life when its factory sealed? Not mine, just a heads up

"Older gallon of PPG Mopar Plum Crazy Delstar acrylic enamel paint and gallon of dtr 602 reducer. Been sitting sealed on the shelf for years."

It depends on the type of paint. Some paints (urethanes or epoxies for example) do not depend on air to cure, so they will store well, in some cases indefinitely. Other types such as enamels utilize the properties of air to cure (solvent evaporation and oxygen to induce cross linking) and have a relatively short shelf life.

acrylic enamel no thanks...... it will last 5 years if it's outside.

The paint is still fine in the can but why wast your time putting it on?

Must have been what Plymouth painted my Breeze with back in '96, cuz it looked like shit in 2001...
What was the stuff they used back in 65? My paint still looked decent after a clay and wax in 2005!
