gas pedal interchange

As you know my car is a 69 dart.I would like to get anouther gas pedal to bend for more travell,I dont want to bend my org one.So what year cars should I look for to get one from.Are all Dusters,Dart,Scamps the same.

Hey Don, I just chkd my parts manual and valiant barracuda and dart are the same. No duster listed as its a 69 manual. Part #2946676. The rod from the pedal is different though, 273 and 318 are the same, but 340 is different. Rod # for the 340 dart and cuda is #2843785.Not to re-hash, but I think you have something hooked up wrong. Post a thread of part # you used for the throttle cable. Was your 360 in it before? And your old cable worked? Something doesnt seem right. I know bending pedals and drilling holes might work, but if you had the 360 in it before and it worked properly, then something is backwards and there is no need to bend and drill. The bending and drilling I believe is located in the "blue room" !!

Thanks steve for the help buddy.The cable i got was from National mopar,the car was a 318 at first 2bbl .The cable match the old one.

Just had the wife step on the gas we have 3/4 open after Burntoranges tip drilling holes in my leaver.

Hey don, the pedal looks right to me, but I am thinking the wrong cable?? I know the one from Nigel matches your old cable, but did you ever have the 360 running with the old cable? Shoot me a pm if you want with your ph # and I will give you a shout. I ran into this problem on my coronet years ago, and for the life of me I cant remember what we did, but it was something we had on backwards.

No never had the 360 with the old cable,it snap shortly after I started takeing it a part.I almost agree maybe bad cable we all know that most parts come from China.Nothing beats OEM.
