About to purchase a rebuild gasket set (Fel Pro (?)) anything else I may consider as far as individual gasket up-grades (header gaskets, oil pan or valve cover, even heads) I'll take any advise.

Rebel I'm suprised nobody has replied yet...if I were you I'd think about Cometic gaskets. At least for the heads. They are probably the ones everyone talks about the most these days. They are more $ but worth it. I'm about to put my 340 back together and I'm using them on the heads forsure. They use MLS technology (Multi-Layer Steel) and synthetic Aramid Fiber in their gaskets and seem to be the favorite...but I'm sure you'll get other opinions...

Hum, a post that slippppped on by.

I myslef use the Mopar set which is now a Fel-Pro gasket set. I sometimes, on the need be, end up purchaseing different head gaskets sometimes for the perfect set up I mapped out. Not what the gasket set limits me to in the head gasket deparment.

The old set was also fine from DC.
