I have a newer circuit board to replace the old one in my 65 Barracuda. Is there anything I should use or do to clean any contact points as I change from my old one. I am using my old gauges. The old circuit board had a crack in it and the gauges were not working. Hopefully this will solve my problem. If not I'll go in a different direction.
Thanks as always

yep. That's what I was referring to.

What I'm getting at is I don't know what "you were referring to."

WHAT "contacts?"

This is a new board? Should not need to be cleaned

There is a "harness connector"

There is a socket for the instrument limiter on non-Ralley clusters

There are bolt holes for the gauges to connect to

There are exposed pads where the dash lamp sockets go

Use alcohol swabs and if the contact area is not bright and shiny, carefully sand it with 400 grit only at the contact points.

You know that you have just soldered a jumper wire to bridge the crack in the old card - right?

Thank you both. I have just now pulled the old one and looked at it. I was thinking there were some places that would need cleaning to make a better contact. I see you are correct. Thanks again.
