Hello,

I will be installing a new 489 case with 3.91 sure grip.

I already picked up "Ford friction modifier" 4 oz tube (as recommended by Dr. Diff) I need "conventional" (ie: non-synthetic) he said as well.

What brand of gear lube do you guys recommend? He recomended "Wal-Mart Super-Tech conventional 85 W 140, GL-5 grade gear lube"

Just seeing what you guys prefer.

Thanks!
Richard

Agreed. Normally I pick up the full synth which states no need for the friction modifer.

Hmmm. I didn't know that!

Anyway, just got back from wal mart. Got the "super-tech" brand.

Thought there might be a better conventional brand but I guess they are all equal. Thanks guys!

That's what the Dr. Ordered!
