I have been playing with the Duster the last couple of weeks, I have only had it a month or so. I put a tune up on it and changed the oil etc. and have been driving it to work every night. If I knew I was going to like the car this much, I never would have bought it for my wife to use as a daily driver. I might have to rethink getting an early barracuda for me and try and find a Demon or early Duster instead.

I have been fixing alot of little stuff like speedo cable, wipers switch, headlight switch. I took the bench seat out and put the buckets out of my 71 dart in it. I'll probably never have a bench seat again.

This will be a "fix up as you drive it" restoration and I will probably start the body work next week sometime.

I am just totally impressed with everything about this car as far as a daily driver is concerned and had to tell you about it. I should have bought one years ago.

I can get HUGE rubber under it without changing anything too:thumbup:

Sounds like you are having a great time with it. But I wouldn't give up the idea of getting an older barracuda. They are fun too.

I can relate to that...When I got the Signet it was orginally for the son so the rebuild was a so-so. After a few months my kid couldn't afford to complete it so I bought it off him. Now I love the car and put a lot into it. I only wish a few years back I did things 100% from the start. Now I fright the day if someone hits me. :sad1:

Glade to hear your both enjoying yours..or should I say hers LOL

Oh I will have a Barracuda!:)

However, I may save the Barracuda for a track and cruise night car only and pick the 71 dart for a daily, or maybe trade it for a Duster or Demon.

That's what I want MY driveway to look like!
A man after my own heart!

Your about 5 years ahead of me, but I had to buy my wife 2 also!
