Glue...for cuts on a dog...

Daisy has a cut on her ear. Took her to the vet. She used some sort of glue and a wrap. While she was more than willing to sell us a roll of
ELASTIKON® Elastic Tape
the glue she was not. I bought some Skin Shield but it burned a bit when I put it on one of the many nicks on my hands...

Any suggestions on what to use? We have tried gauze but when Ernestina removes it the scab came with it.

I've heard they use superglue in surgery/ER sometimes, but when I asked about it for use in the backcountry, the Wilderness First Aid instructor told me it wasn't a good idea - you can seal in dirt/bacteria and make for a nasty infection - gotta be very clean before closing with glue

super glue or crazy glue there is 3 tubes of it in my fishing boats first aid kit it is used at least once a week . also very good for hangnails .

Hang nails? Excuse the ignorance...but can you explain where you would apply it to help with a hang nail?

the little pieces of skin that peel back above your fingernail that are very sensitive just glue them back down .

I peel them off...least I used to...will be trying your idea out. I put the stuff we bought on a cut on my hand. 3 showers and 2 days of truck work/hand washing and it is still there...Thanks for the suggestion Sir

javex is great for soaking your hands or feet in if you have any cuts or bacteria when we are fishing our gloves get soaked in sweat.... fish slime and ...blood from fish or we will drive the little horns from fish in our hands if you soak your hands in hot water and javex it will kill the bacteria and take the pain away .

also if you have warts on your feet or hands soak your warts in hot water and javex for 10 min every night in less than 2 weeks they will be GONE . put enough javex in the hot water to make your hands feel slippery when they are soaking . it works better than anything the doctor will give you I promise .
