Already have two fake knees... and one fake shoulder (that's is failing !).

Monday I get the left shoulder replaced. I hated to do it but I'm useless without a new one. Might be useless anyway.

Last shoulder job they kept me two days (12 years ago)...now it's an out patient deal. In by 9 out by five.

Early Scheib must run the joint.

Been in the hospital way too much since November... three visits.

That makes 4 :D

My prayers and best wishes for a successful surgery and speedy recovery

All kiddin aside, like others have said, best wishes and a speedy recovery.

Thanks everyone...

I'm taking some pre-surgical pain meds designed to keep nerve pain down. They are also helping my back quite a bit...got 5 crap discs. Might ask the family Doc for a prescription for that stuff since my normal Tramadol just doesn't do much.

Every summer I get a short term script for prednisone so I can stand upright and clean my shop and fix stuff until it wears off in 30 days.

Gettin old is gettin old!

Sticking my nose in here but I hear the shoulder takes a lot longer to recover from.

I havent had a shoulder replaced , but had a total separation, and a broken collar bone , took me 3 yrs . before I could windmill my left arm . A Tulsa football player did the same thing , he was on the field before the yr was over ------------??
I know he had better care than the quack that worked on me .
A couple of yrs were hell, had a family that liked to eat .
