best of luck to you. have you done anything different to the car? I want to take the Dakota out and try for a new best my self. but I don't think stupid's Mo weather is going to let me. supposed to rain from this Saturday to the next Saturday.

Transbrakes are FUN, and at least for me, more consistent. But the driveline has to be beefy enough for the shock loads. 8 3/4 with a spool and axles, and a good driveshaft with big u-joints and good yokes, id give it a try.
Stock shaft, axles, and a posi (i know, lol ), uh,nope!
I had a glide, billet yokes, 3 1/2 aluminum shaft with 1350 joints, nine inch with a spool, soft gears, 33 spline axles.
And a light car.
Sure was fun though!

fighting a shifter cable issue right now... hopefully get it fixed here soon, first lick was 10.82@121 and change. Hoping to get another pass in yet tonight
Its a pooch.... some things i would like to do to make it go faster, but at the end of the day..small diameter straw.
Limited upside.
Positive news, pulley issue is fixed, no issues

No new anything... leaned it out a bit much i think.
Air got real good, needed more fuel. 700 foot better air last pass, only 1 number better. My fault.
Went 81@121.60. Not much power, but the car is working extremely well for the mph i think
