Back in '08 I started working on plans to run a traditional pre-'64 hot rod show here in Wisconsin. I took on a junior partner and we worked together for two years after which I parted ways with him by selling out my 1/2 of the show. It was that or kill him and I figured spending the rest of my life in prison wasn't a good life choice.
Anyway I decided to go back this year and vend in the swap meet. So I spent most of yesterday loading up a borrowed trailer. Took off at 7AM... didn't open the gates until 9AM. Must have been 75 cars waiting to get in. I always opened at 6AM.
Then they said they were full. I never turned away anybody with $$$ in their hands... I would have added $90.00 to the coffers.
No problem... I headed back home (15 miles)... unloaded the Brand X engine I had sitting on the tail of the trailer and unload some small parts. I'll get the rest unloaded Sunday.
So ebay here I come....
