Apparently, the hound my package got on has retired. Got a frame rail from a member here. He shipped it out on August 27th. I’ve tried calling the greyhound shipping number to no avail. For about 2 hours all together, 3 calls, I listened to hold music, with my telephone between my ear and my hearing protection while I ground some welds on my quarter and cut out my floor. No answer. Just hold music. Today, I went to Greyhound in Buffalo to see what they could tell me. The answer was nothing. I got a customer service number that the guy at the counter said went to India, Indian fellow, but Texas area code. He gave me the line to Vegas Greyhound, and they don’t answer. It rings for about 5 minutes and says “no one is available to answer your call” and terminates the call. So, I guess I am just looking for suggestions.

You are not alone. I dropped a 68 rear window off at greyhound here in Baltimore on Aug 24. They estimated 7 days to Abilene. According to the tracker, it's still in Baltimore as of last night. No answer to the emais and no help on the phone. The buyer is patient, but mine is running short.

Well here is to our pieces finding their ways home! I’ve got plenty of work to do in the interim, but it’s definitely getting frustrating

Sooo, Greyhound called from Buffalo... Of course, you cannot speak to anybody there when you call back... However, that means my rail is in. Good luck ragtop! Your glass will find it’s own way home.

Matt, on the receiving end, called and it is still sitting here in B'more waiting for the right dog to run southwest. ...

I must say, in 03, we were going to the Gorge WA to see some post jerry dead music. Our car broke down in Eugene OR. Had to take a hound back to Buffalo. From experience, I hope my frame rail had fun at every McDonalds in the continental US. Because I swear we stopped at each one

Shipping packages is secondary to transporting people and luggage. Sometimes they ship really fast, other times it takes forever. I sent a 68 GTS hood to California and it took almost 2 months. By the way if the person that bought it from me is a member here, How about sending me the $85.00 you owe me for shipping! You Prick!

Sorry about you getting stiffed on the shipping. The time before this, I agreed to one price. Shipping was way more than expected, CA to NY, and we ended up splitting the difference. It was 50$, but I gave him 30 just cause. Shoot, you aren’t going to find this stuff anywhere but FABO

Guy wanted me to send it freight COD. Well Greyhound didn't do that at the smaller stations. So I call him said to pay it and he would send me the money. I did and he didn't!

Unless you pay for preferred shipping, your stuff gets on the bus on an "as available" basis.

I had stuff get caught by a winter storm. Stuff backed up at terminals all over the midwest. Somehow it was my fault a blizzard hit the area. People are impatient and ridiculous in expectations sometimes.

Hope you get paid Roy...
