I have an aleter k in the front and RMS tri 4 link in the rear. I have a 7 grt oil pan, and a slightly larger trans pan (from CRT trans). I have snugged the adjustment collars on the front springs about to the half way point and have about 4.5 inches clearance to the oil pan and trans pan. Is this enough clearance? I am worried that I will hit $$it. Not sure what I could do to get more clearance, or do you think this will be okay as long as I am careful.

4.5" will be ok, but it depends on what your doing with the car. I raised the alterK and motor up 2" so the front subframe where is goes under the cab is now the lowest point vs the oil pan being the lowest. Rather hit the rails than the pan. The pic has 5" of tubing stacked under the pan, just a mock up pic

Charlie's can build you a custom pan. They already have all the specs for the alterK. I had one on the Bigblock i originally put into the car with the alterK
