Got the engine bay cleaned up!Tightened up the trans pan bolts.

Didn't feel good all day and went out at dusk and went to install the lower control arms.They fit loose and am waiting g till morning to find out if I get rid of the slack with washers or just tighten it!The white stuff is grease!

Got the brakes lines on, blead the brakes,and put my Turbo Action converter in.

My machinist sad this oil pan was a street hemI .It's 6 quarts. It's touchung the rac.but barely.I can trim 2 bushings and get some day light.might trim 1/8th off.I installed the rt side header and played withe the left side.raised the engine and moved it into position and got the starter in and bolted the headers up.Installed the stearing.it was easy.The reason it took so long is my health.There is more room.I can't wait to get my altinator,upper radiator hose and my new fuel system in to fire it up.Then do my exhaust

Oh I forgot I'm going to drill a new hoke in my altinator bracket.My old engine was a tall deck !
 
Taking a 16th of my spacers on the rack today to have more room between my oil pan and rack.I don' have a deep pan and used a pan not recommnded and it' going to work out.I can't wait to get it to the alignment shop
 
If you can make that pan work for you then BONUS .... since i did not order pan i will go with pan recommended by Carl to clear rack ... How did the headers fit ?... which ones did you have ?...

tti with a short deck right side went right in from the bottomain and I had to raise the engine a little to clear the steering shaft.Then I hooked it to the rack

240.No porting.I' going to try this Performer Rpm.If it don' work out I'm going trick flow.Im going to try and keep my engine max Rpm at 6500.I' going to touch up my oil pan it got scratched up when I put the engine in!

I'm using a comp xtreme solid roller cam 248/254 @.50, 11 to 1 compression,with 6.535 rods,e85 935cfm carb.
