Got a heater core from Advance. Guess where it was made. No cheating.
I was surprised. First I seen of this.


And yes, I did have to do some tweaking on it to make it fit without pulling the whole box out of the car.
But I always do. The things never go in without stressing the lines unless I do that.
40 Dollars really doesn't seem unreasonable anyway considering the demands for them.

I got mine from the zone or advance, can`t remember, but I do remember I had to desolder a tube and rotate, resolder to make it work without hacking up my firewall:protest:

No winner yet. I'll post the picture of the label too.
I will keep checking since I thought we could have some fun with this.
Really, I was surprised. But other people may not be though.
 
A...........If it fits, works, lasts a long time, it does not matter

B...........If it's junk, doesn't work, doesn't fit, it's fun to make fun of, but the reality is, there's not one thing you or anyone can do about it.


"We" are not gonna go down to the local NA-Reallys and demand high quality parts, the conversation would go something like this:

"This is junk, it's crap, it doesn't fit, and it's made is (some foreign joint). I demand better quality."

Parts guy:

"So what'yu gonna do, not BUY one?"

Hey, I thought it was pretty good quality for 40 dollars.
I've seen worse from Mexico.
And I expected to do some tweaking. I always do. We are talking about some tight tolerances.
Thought I made that clear just as an aside.
Not a *****, just a fact. The interesting part, to me, is where it was sourced.
 
OK, OK.
This could go on for a while. I'd like to give some other people a chance.
But

A................. I might get busy and not be able to check back for a bit.

B.................. Someone will eventually get it, probably.

I mean there are only so many countries. (We'll exclude Vatican City)

For those with small screens, it's Korea.
