At least I think. Over 1200 race cars preentered for this race. Place is Jammed packed and a nice way to end the year but after something like 38 years I keep saying this is my last one. I usually arrive and park on Saturday but held off till Thursday this year. I planned on coming Tuesday for the free beer, pizza, and chicken wings but one of my 4 cats kinda refused to get in my motorhome. My sons cat was being a real dick and my son went to the track Saturday with his buddy. Well I kinda lucked out and Wednesday’s Race was rained out and they decided to try to squeeze it in Thursday. Well that plan didn’t work out so I have two races today. I did run a nice 6.06 during my time trial. Wheelies was a little to high so I made a quick adjustment for today.

Nice Pass!! We are supposed to have our "Halloween" event this weekend. Prediction is 40% chance of rain. Trying to get back for a pass myself.

How you get some dry weather. We had a typical late October head with here yesterday that made my old bones ache. My son lost first round in his buddies dragster so with getting up at 5am yesterday and only two hours sleep I heard for the motorhome at 10:30 last night and went to bed.

What track is this event held at? We are planning on hitting the friends and family Ken Strong Memorial race at Lebanon Valley this weekend pretty much the last one for us this year.

Very nice run,I gotta ask what was in the other lane?,that thing was flying and dude cut a light.

Sorry I missed this post. Lots of fast door cars out here and and occasional 4.20 dragster with a blower on it. Lol. I’m usually pretty good on the tree but this time trial was crazy. Just as we went to pull into the water a car oiled down the track. It took so long the two cars that already heated their tires wanted a reheat then after the pair in front of us heated their tires we were pulled into the water box. As soon as they leave we are told to heat our tires. Well I was in the right lanes and the Duster leaving the starting line broke. Well there I was already heating my tires. Well had to wait for the Duster to get pushed back then I had to wait for the other guy to heat his tires. By that time my head was in Tim buck two.

No problem,it just caught my eye.I used to bracket race in high school and there was nothing like staying up all night working on the car and then hauling *** after school the next day to the track while choking down a cheeseburger to try to get a couple time trials before eliminations.By the time I got in the staging lanes I was dam near comatose so I know how that goes.

Then there were the rain outs, the oil downs, and the older drag racers cute daughter, they were good times for sure looking back but at the time there were some pretty long nights.

Best memory ever was I lined up against a local guy who's dad owned a tune shop and was really good.We lined up and I ran a .001 to his .003 but I broke out since I had him beat I wouldn't dare lift.It Didn't matter to me that I lost the race though because even he was all jacked up at having such a great race, bunch of high school kids lol.
