Ok, I have a 360 that I built like 20 years ago and I am replacing my balancer because I think it may have slipped. When the engine was built I remember taking the pistons, flywheel balancer and stuff for balancing but and I thought I grabbed this balancer off a 340 for internal balance but I don’t remember. Can you tell by the balancer?

See the weird offset in the top picture? That is a counter weight. External balance dampener.

That is an early LA 360 balancer. Later at some point they redesigned them and instead of adding a counterweight, they removed weight from the outer ring on the opposite end. Magnum 360 balancers were different. 340 forged/neutral balancers were just plain & flat, like a LA 318 and the cast crank 340 had a smaller counterweight that had "USE WITH 340 CAST CRANK ONLY" cast into the counterweight.

That balancer looks in good shape to me. What makes you think the outer ring slipped? Check the timing mark locations by using a piston stop. That will tell you for sure. If it has slipped, I'd just get it rebuilt since it matches your existing engine.
