correct. I bought an ARP bolt and installed it in my 318. The spec sheet says 3/4 in.-16Would this be 3/4-16 ? Going to buy a Bolt, nut and washers for installing my Balancer after removal.

can confirm slant, SB & B/RBYup. I think that's common on all Mopars from the slant to the Hemi.
Ha, the old Chevy junk, then they upgraded to a 3/8" bolt, meanwhile the big blocks had so much interference that the first auto machine shop I worked in back in the mid 70s used to buy a new damper puller every couple of months and these pullers were Snap on, not Chinese junk. I had a neighbor who had a 57 Corvette and he stopped at my shop one day to tell me his damper fell off, he was a grumpy old fart who owned the pawn shop down the road from me, I couldn't stop laughing.you really need a stud. Thread the bolt/ stud a long ways into the crank, and this will help protect the crank threads, as they are not turning and "now have" lots of engagement. Then use a nut, a "heavy" nut if you can get it, and OIL the stud threads, to pull the balancer on
I can still remember the early days of 265/ 283 Chevs, which had no bolt, were just "pressed on." Well, LOL, fine, until you get one that is LOOSE!!!
That's the same set up I'm thinking. What style bearing is that you're using and (dimensions)? I know the ID is .680. I have a 3" Grade 8 bolt, washers, and nut. I also have some all thread if needed. ThanksI made two using a piece of allthread bought from Grainger....
