I was wondering if anyone can school me on how to replace a full one piece floor on an early 1970's A-body. Do you have to remove the trans and driveshaft and lift the car very high to maneuver the floor up and in through the bottom of the car? I don't see it fitting through the door way, and up in through the bottom seems pretty not-possible too...

68 Barracuda we bought had a new AMD floor setting in it. To remove it we opened the door and rolled the back side quarter window down on the passenger side due to the steering column. On a Duster , Demon or Sport you would have to remove the quarter glass. Removing the windshield and steering wheel would be another way.
