A New York man retired.
He wanted to use his retirementmoney wisely, so it would last, and decided to buy a home and afew acres in Portugal .

The modest farmhouse had been vacant for15 years.; the owner and wife both had died, and there were no heirs. The house was sold to pay taxes.
There had been several lookers, but the large barn had steel doors, and they had been weldedshut.
Nobody wanted to go to the extra expense to see what was inthe barn, and it wasn't complimentary to the property anyway......so,nobody made an offer on the place.

The New York guy bought it at just over half of the property's worth, movedin, and set about to tear in to the barn.......curiosity was killing him.

So, he and his wife bought a generator, and a couple of grinders.......andcut thru the welds.
What was in the barn...............?

The doors were welded shut, but an angle grinder took care of that.

Pics won't show up but I believe this story is fake, but the collection is real.

Heck yeah!!!! there's a guy on the hamb forum just found a crazy collection in Mexico, nowhere near as many cars, but insanely rare stuff. One was a 1955 Cadillac Cathedral Hearse that looked like it just needed a good bath.

Wouldn't that be something if one of us guys or gals out here could ever have this happen to us?

Yeah, I first saw that story about 5 years ago. Some cool cars in there.
