On a car not equipped with them! When turn signal is on left all lights
flash like hazards.Right side turn signals work fine.Turn headlamp switch
on and all lights stay on,dont flash at all left and right!

Replaced h/l switch, regrounded everything and took bulkhead connector
apart no change.Any ideas????

HUH!? Your car does not have hazzards? WOW! That is a first here. Weird stuff man.

I'd say you have a set bare wires someplace crossing over onto each other. I'd look in the column and behind the steering wheel.

Good luck, I hate electrical bugs.

Thanks Ruumblefish havent had column apart yet just fishin to see if anything
else came around.

I'd say it must be in the turn signal switch, and maybe a previous owner dismembered the hazards and really fouled it up

Ok,has the original column as dad found this car in its early 80s and had been
sitting many years before that. Was a column shift,he converted to 4 speed
so it has been modified.I was in it when i changed the steering wheel and
everything looks original.

As far as hazards did they have them?this is on my 66 bcuda,my dart has a
separate switch just for hazards. The bcuda doesnt have a place where
the switch would go?

I think i need to start with that turn signal switch, only thing i really havent
messed with.I will update when i find something. Thanks guys.

Sounds like you have a bulb with the filaments shorted together. Front bulbs are 1034 and the rear bulbs are 1057. It's cheap enough to just replace all 4 and see.

WOW! I keep forgetting that a bad or half bad bulb does wacky stuff. Drive me nuts in my '79 Dodge when ever it happens.

Bad signal switch is very likely. If the turn indicater bulbs light when the park lamps are turned on you have issues with bulbs and/or poorly grounded fixtures also.

Update!

Changed the t/s switch and changed out all the bulbs, still there.:angry7:
Down to wiring i guess.:(
