Hi everyone
Was wondering if I have to seal all of my header bolts so coolant will not leak and what do I seal them with?I want to be able to pull them off with ease if I ever have to

small block only the end bolts have water in them....just use some thread sealant on the bolts

I used pipe thread sealant. I hope it works with heat. LOL you could use high temp silicone too. Mike

ohhh ok,I have some high heat sealant I used for my thermostat cover.Would that work ok?I going to just use studs for the rear thenThat way,I wont have to worry. Thanks a bunch, guys !

I use a lot of Permatex sealers and have had good results.

On small block that had studs in them....front and back only and I used pipe sealant with teflon in it....I found out that on certain factory RB cylinder heads all bolts enter the water jacket...had to seal all of them...
