Has anyone tried Hedman 75800 shorty headers on a 63-66 A-body? I have a 1966 Valiant 200 I just put a 360 into.

wont fit ,dougs or tti for a stock fitment or you have to cut things about

look for a set of Spitfires on ebay if you dont have the $$ for the TTIs. I think Dougs make a set as well.

Thanks for the info, I'll see what I can find. I was looking at Dougs but the add says they don't work with 727 tranny, which I have.

I don't have these but I understand you only need the special starter with the TTI's is with a 727 trans.
There were a few posts about a set of shorties (Hedman?) that had a tube swapped on each side to make them fit a while back.

You also need the special mini starter with the larger bell housing, 10.5 inch clutch, I should of said that above, as that is what I am running.

I have had the Dougs, they are great, just a little idler arm rub. I have the tti's now, harder to install, but work great. I use a stock chrysler mini starer and it's close to one of the tubes but fits, I use a heat shield from summit and wrap it around the starter. No issues.
