Looking for recommendations for headers that will fit on my 340 in my 65 Dart. It’s tight in there.

Id recommend TTI also, Or maybe Dougs. Dont get Supercomps as you have to cut the inner fenderwells. Make sure you get 340 sized ports (usually a given but IIRC the Supercomps did not seal on my 340, but they may have been drilled wrong)

Get ready to lighten your bank account by 1K dollars.

I hear you!!! So ridiculous. It’s for a car that’s a daily driver. I may just keep my 318 manifolds.

If you don't plan on power steering, the HP 340 manifolds will fit.

If you can get a code for 20% off at Autozone, you can get a set of raw Dougs headers as cheap as you can find the 68 - 70 340 HP manifolds. The price of those things is just nuts anymore! Nice Dart! The engine shot from way above was a nice touch. :)

I used Doug's on my early A. Either way you go RRR is right, it's gonna lighten your wallet! 65'

Thank you. I keep searching hoping to find something less expensive. I just finally found everything for my A body 8 3/4 rear end for under $500 which took some time. I’ll keep saving and searching for the exhaust.

Consider Magnum logs: Uber cheap, quiet, durable, flow very well and can fit. Worth a shot for ~$50 a set. May require a touch of a grinder but what doesn't modding an early A. (note early big bore 619 casting)

Sure. Treblig had sets for sale, maybe he still works with these.

Let's not turn this into a sale thread. If you have something to sell or want to buy start a sale or wanted thread or at least do it through a personal conversation. Thanks.

I apologize, the conversation did he drift that way.

TTI were an excellent fit. Their exhaust system was a true bolt in for my Dart.
Mine were installed in 2012 and still look great.
You will need a clockable starter such as the McRobb.

Nice 65. What tranny/rear end are you running? The headers look like a good fit. Do you have the specific part number? What is a “clockable starter”?

340 driver Jeep magnum passenger as long as you don't have power steering or manual trans, some grinding required!

I had a 65 dart 318 four speed conversion, the muffler shop had there work cut out for them lol.
