How do you dye a headliner if you can't find the clolor that came out? I need a gold for a 65 Plymouth Barracuda. I ordered new carpet and seat covers in gold but it seems the headliner is going to be a problem. Dante's suggested white or black but that doesn't sound good to me. Any ideas.
thanks

Paint stores can mix almost any color from a sample in a ready to spray. Buy white and dye it.

Thanks for the answer. Do you spray it before or after you install it? I've not had any experience doing this before.
Thanks so much for any help.

I would dye it right out of the box. You will need to stretch the seams to get the dye in deep. Save some dye for touch up just encase a seam pulls open enough to show any white.
