We raced our 340 71 Duster against our friends
Loge and Stein Racing ( One of the very best full
engine/dyno shops in the West ).
Big Nasty headwind!
Both cars go .80 plus under in sub optimal cotions.
Their car surprises us and outruns us almost 2 1/2 Hundreds.
Last time we raced at Arizona Nationals the cars were within 1
Hundred and so were the reaction time. We had beaten them a
couple times the last few years but they prevailed in Feb.
Randy Loge puts up a solid .030 light but Jon bangs the tree .000
Trip/Zip/Perfect. The car cross the 1/8 Absolutely Dead Even due
tp Randy 1.38 @ 60 to our 1.41 @ 60.
However, Jon's car runs two tenths of an MPH better to take the strip
by .006 Heads Up!
These are the kind of Class Races that make my Damn Hair fall out!
Stay Tuned.
