Hey Guys,
im gonna keep this short.

heater blows cold air when set to warm

hoses to cabin are warm.
blower is working.

what gives?
where do i begin looking?

Is the coolant full?

This is common when the level is low, air bubble in the system, etc.

Maybe the cable came off on the hot/cold control? Move it back and forth to hear if the flapper door is moving?

Hot water is flowing through your heater core at all times, unless your system has an inline heater control valve. By flipping your lever to warm, you are opening a door to allow the warm air into the car. It would seem your door is not opening.

Sometimes the hose temp can fool you - little to zero flow with a semi-clogged core, but everything warms up eventually. Disconnect the hoses at the engine, blow it alternately in both directions w a garden hose.

Make sure to blow it OPPOSITE from engine flow, I had trouble with my Dakota, which has VERY small passages in the core. Chrysler should be sued for the design of the damn thing.
