I had a hole in my heat/AC box. I cut a patch from a busted up box I had and now I don't know what to use to glue it in. 2 part epoxy or fiberglass from the back side. Has anyone done this?

You could epoxy it in but for a more seamless repair, I'd bevel the edges and fiberglass it in with resin and mat starting on the backside. Doesn't have to be pretty there. Little more resin and mat on the front, DA smooth, and paint.

Nice job on the patch.

Fiberglass it. I had to reattach all the clip brackets on mine and it worked great

Well I got it epoxied. Then when I was popping rivets, I created some more issues. Where I broke out around rivets. I used jb weld then drilled the holes out again. I found the JB weld to be more forgiving to work with since the Permatex 2 part epoxy was very fast setting. All said and done, it turned out great.
