can anyone tell me if a non a/c heater control unit for a 72 dart or Duster the same as a 73 Dart or Duster. Willit fit. another member asked me if it was because I have one for sale and I dont know. Thanks,Bill

Everything about the hvac changed in 73. Through 72 fan switch moves left to right. 73 and later moves up and down. There's your sign.

I just switched the heater box from 72 a/c to a 73 non a/c. What I need to know is will the unit fit properly in the dash?
Are you sure the box is 73 and later ? If so you have needed to change the holes in the firewall also.
There are so many different finsih bezels for the controllers that there may be one that fits both the 73 up controller and your dash opening.
