I got some kooks headers for a jeep SRT8, i had hoped to use these in my A body 6.1 transplant as they sit nice and tight against the block and will allow me to run RHD steering (australian Charger).

The problem is as i suspected they hang way too low, i need to raise the collector about 4" and was wondering if it would be possible to heat them with an oxy/acl torch and bend them up.

Concerns are that the tubes would simply crease or worse.

Any thoughts ideas?

Not gonna happen, and I'd bet those hit the T bars

Not a chance...if you can find someone with some welding skills, you might be able to cut the tubes on the bottom, remove about 4 inches..and possibly leave them a slip joint for easy installation.

Slip joint, good idea, that might work. Thanks mate.
