5-09-17 on Graveyard cars, 2016 Hellcat Challenger, rear wheel horsepower=650. only 9% less than 707, or only 57 hp less chassis than advertised ? and weight=4440#
I wonder why the shipping weight I saw on a new one on the show room floor said, "5400" and something pounds. may have been a typo ??650hp, 707hp. Who cares. Ive driven a few of them and they are fast as hell lol
Mopar was always good at that! lol 275 hp/ 340 in 1969. Ya, right!More of the old past power rating shenanigans to fool insurance companies.
I was w/ my brother in law , looking for a truck for his stepson, ( my nephew). there were 5 hellcat challengers at the dealer we went to, didn`t count the hellcat chargers. We test drove a 2013 chevy 4 door p/u, that he was interested in, when I drove "after him", I floorboarded it up to about 75-80, it started knocking pretty loud, we turned around and took it back !! LOL650hp, 707hp. Who cares. Ive driven a few of them and they are fast as hell lol
Them....and every other manufacturer out there.I think/heard that Mopar used flywheel HP to rate the Hellcats.... Rod
Since the introduction of net rating in, 1972?, all HP readings are at the flywheel... but with all the accessories mounted.Them....and every other manufacturer out there.
