Well, it took me a while to finally get on this site, and would like to say hello to all of you guys from all over North America.
A little about myself, I have been a gear head since I was about 14 years old and have always loved my mopars. When I was young, my father bought his first one that was a Pink and Black 1970 340 4spd Duster. Man that was a fun car. That's when I got hooked on A bodies. So light and can make them go soooo fast..
Now I currently have a 1967 Dart GT convertible. It used to have a 225 slant six, the ol' leanin' tower of power, and I pulled all the drivetrain from it and dropped in a 537 HP 440 backed with a 727 and a 3000 stall shifted by a slapstick Hurst followed by the old 8 3/4 with .355 gearing. It has electric dumps on it run by a remote control which is a hit at parades and meet and greets. Open those dumps up, and it just sounds like war..
Anyway, that's my story and hope to all hear from some of you soon.
