hey guys and gals. Currently I own a 67 barracuda with a 340/727
combo. its a great daily driver that's been updated with power disk breaks up front and is a super clean car. My other car is a 72 Scamp with a 360/ 4 speed combo. pistol grip shifter and 4.10's out back. This is the car that I want to build up a bit with some updated suspension and brakes. I took it out for a little spin today and while I was in the middle of a low speed turn I heard and felt a big kaboom. All of a sudden I realized that the car was stuck in reverse. after getting under the car I saw that one of the shifter arms was dangling from the transmission and severely bent. So I'm gonna have to locate a new shifter arm and probably rebuild the shifter mechanism. I haven't had the car long and am still going through it. Also its still stuck in reverse. any suggestions to threads that would addressee these issues would be wonderful. thanks in advance
